The Dansko clog kills my toes so I was a little bit skeptical about this heel - that and the sizing does not always translate, but after getting them yesterday (I wear an 11 and bought the 42), I must say I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are and how I do not feel off-kilter or unsteady in these heels one bit. And they are pretty. I am wishing that we had more colors to choose from.

I'm a teacher and stand all day on a super-hard floor (tile on concrete). When I have to dress up, these are my go-to shoes. They're surprisingly comfortable, with a great insole and arch support. The nappa leather is very soft, and the sole absorbs a great deal of impact. Great shoe! I'm impressed! They look great on the foot (my husband likes them, too). Also, thanks to Zappos for impeccable customer service!

Amazing! I LOVE these shoes! I am a hairstylist, and I work 9+ hrs per day. I can wear these shoes for hours and walk the earth in them! I have to say these shoes have improved my quality of life!

Pretty comfortable and super cute - This is my first pair of Dansko’s. I normally find Dansko’s a bit frumpy and too wide, but I really like the look and feel of this style. I have gotten many compliments. I think this is as comfortable a shoe you will find at this height. I wear mine all day at work without problems, but I wouldn't recommend wearing them shopping or for lots of outdoor walking.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt narrower than markedBeautiful, but deadly - I love the look of these shoes. That having been said, they are killing my feet. The arch is somewhat higher and the toe box is somewhat smaller than the other Danskos I have. My advice, wear them around inside for a day or two before you decide whether to send them back.

This is a great looking shoe with a funky elegance, kind of like me. These are perfect and what I was looking for. It is a little uncomfortable around the front lower area, but I think that will soften as I wear them more. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a comfortable height, style, and a unique look. I will also wear them in the winter with tights.

Wear with bare feet - I love my Dansko professionals and bought these for a fancy event... but wore hose... BIG mistake. They slip off your foot every step with hose or stockings, only work only barely better with a non-stick insert. Barefoot, however, they stay on and are relatively comfortable but NOTHING like the Dansko Professionals I know and love.

Beautifully made shoe. It does take a bit to break them in though. The sides of the shoe really cut into your feet. Overall, the shoe fits great. Have not tried them with pantyhose, I would imagine them to be quite slippery.

Totally Cute and Comfortable - I got my pair yesterday (thanks Zappos for the super-rapid shipping )and I am wearing them this morning at work. If the black pair were in stock in my size I would have already ordered them! I wear only mules/clogs and boots because mt heel is painful when I wear shoes with a back so I am used to keeping this type of shoe on my foot. (The foot bead little slippery, so I understand other people's difficult with that.) These are so cute and so comfortable. I agree with another poster that if these came in red I would absolutely own a pair!

These are the best pair of high heel dress shoes I have ever bought. Cute, comfortable, and a great shoe to wear to work. I was hesitant to buy them because of the reviews I had read that they were slippery with nylons. There is no problem if you put a small Dr. Scholl's type pad on the sole. I have also heard that you can rub a bit of surfboard wax on it so you don't slip. Absolutely love this shoe!!! I intend to buy it in the brown, too.

Stick-ons - I own these shoes and noticed that a lot of the reviews mention that the footbed is slippery and that these can't be worn with socks or stockings. That's right!! These are what you call "stick-ons". Most mules are stick-ons...They will stick to your bare feet... must be worn without socks/nylons. And to that point, Dansko really should offer some lighter, pretty summer colors for summer wear. I love how these feel and how quiet and springy they are. Very cute. For looks, they should have made the heel a little more delicate. The cross strap IS delicate and is what makes this shoe unusual and elegant. Plus, I love any shoe that is open in the back - no ugly red bump on the heel...

Awesome and stylish - I have just been told by my podiatrist that I need to start wearing the "right" shoe - by that, I thought that meant ugly. These shoes are beautiful and are comfortable. They fit great and looked great. I was hesitate to buy them but thought if they did not work out - then I could just return them but I loved them. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Very Pleasant Surprise! Looks 10 times cuter in person than the photo. Extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. I may have to have both colors. Nice wide toe area. Nothing bad to say about these!

A Little Pastic-y Looking - I love Dansko! This would be the 5th pair I've owned and these Trixie are a delight on the foot. I wanted a more sophisticated style to wear to work and out but also be able to walk a good distance in without having to be dropped off at the door. My one complaint is that they have a plastic look. The leather is a bit too shiny and that on top of the rubber sole and foot bed makes the shoe look cheap. I've decided to keep them anyway just because they are so darn comfortable to walk in. I ordered my normal Dansko size in this shoe and it worked.

Took a few days to break in - mash down the part where a shallow strip of leather goes around the back of the heel. Wore without socks/hose while traveling in South America on business and walking a LOT. They were a lifesaver! Professional and practical. I got several compliments :-)
