  • Salomon by X-Scream Posted: Apr 24, 2014 Reviewer: from Arizona Overall: 3 Stars Comfort: 3 Stars Look: 4 Stars
This is a nice looking shoe. Unfortunately, my tender feet felt way too cramped as the toe box seemed awfully narrow. The lacing was hard to work and really had to be pulled hard to move it. I think those who have no foot problems or sensitivities would be fine in this athletic shoe. My toes and bunions just wouldn't go for it.

I love the look of these shoes and really really wanted to keep them, but I had to (very sadly) decide to send them back because they are way too narrow and were piching my pinky toes after just a brief trying-on period at the house. I cannot imagine what it would feel like to wear these all day, or have to walk a long distance and stand for a long time! They make a farty sound when you walk around in them. Not cool! I absolutely love the monochromatic look though and really wanted to keep them. It just was not a good fit though (no pun intended?).
  • VIONIC with Orthaheel Technology by Rosario Posted: Apr 23, 2014 Reviewer: Overall: 5 Stars Comfort: 5 Stars Look: 5 Stars
The best arch support of all the Vionics / Orthaheels I have tried (it ties with the Orthaheel Tides for arch support but much prettier). I have narrow and flat feet and I overpronate. The cork footbed is nice and firm and the straps hold my feet in. This is the best fitting flip-flop. I love that it is leather, too!

Have not worn these very much yet, but the day I received them I put them one and wore them for the rest of the day. I specifically purchased these for a trip to Europe in the summer. I feel that these shoes will handle the cobblestone streets and walkways very well. I do not consider these the most beautiful shoes, but I am more interested in comfort and stability.
  • Nike Kids by Free Run 5.0 (TDV) (Infant/Toddler) Posted: Apr 23, 2014 Reviewer: Overall: 4 Stars Comfort: 5 Stars Look: 5 Stars
I would suggest to get half a size bigger. They just fit so I would say they run small. Half a size would make them more true to your kid's actual size.

Ordered white lace-ups, so of course they sent black Velcro. I returned the first pair because of a significant manufacturing flaw on the interior instep. NewBs are US made, so I wouldn't have expected foreign made quality. Hopefully 3 times is a charm. These are great shoes for those of us that need stability and wear orthotics, but the first signs of wear appears in the interior lining.
  • ASICS by GEL-Nimbus® 15 Posted: Apr 23, 2014 Reviewer: from California Overall: 5 Stars Comfort: 5 Stars Look: 5 Stars
Great shoe; the most comfortable of all the Asics I have tried; the Gel Kayano series has been my favorite. It is like walking on a cloud; the cushioning is superb. I walk about 20 miles per week. I ordered the white/black/lime/pink combination. The only Nimbus 15 not on sale, but the only color I liked. This shoe runs small and a bit narrow; I ordered a 1/2 size up...8.5B to size 9B. Even in the 9B, I have to wear thinner socks. I hear the new Nimbus 16 has even more cushion and more room in the toe box.
  • ASICS by Gel-Kayano® 20 Posted: Apr 23, 2014 Reviewer: from United States Overall: 5 Stars Comfort: 5 Stars Look: 4 Stars
I bought these shoes to both run and train in. I run about 15 miles a week, and go to the gym 1-3 times a week and do everything from the elliptical to weight training. The width of my heel and mid-foot are normal, but I have moderate bunions and tailor's bunions on both feet and these were the best fit for me. They are comfortable, don't crowd my toe box, and still fit snugly enough around the rest of my foot. I'm not crazy on the colors either, as some other reviewers mentioned, but I'm at the point now where I'll gladly buy a shoe that doesn't cause me any pain.

Pretty shoes - perfect for dressy occasion. However, even with padded insoles added, my feet were killing me an hour in. Granted, I was walking a lot, but I was happy to take them off. Maybe next time I wear them, they won't hurt as much.
  • Saucony by Progrid™ Integrity ST 2 Posted: Apr 23, 2014 Reviewer: MaryCH from CT Overall: 3 Stars Comfort: 3 Stars Look: 3 Stars
Maybe it was just the shoes I received but mine were not well made at all. Areas underneath the shoe had what looks like glue seeping through the bottom. They really looked more like a "seconds" or imperfect in some way but definitely not new. They also felt pretty deep which I was unaccustomed to. I tried my own orthotics in these shoes and my feet were swimming in these shoes. I did try them in the house with varying thickness of socks to no avail. I am sorry to have to return these because for once...relying on the reviews didn't work in my favor.
