"Dear Zappos Customer Service, Just wanted to drop a line to say thank you for expediting my delivery. As a deployed member of the Armed Services, I have gotten used to spending the holidays and special occasions away from my wife and children; 3rd Thanksgiving and Christmas in 4 years. One way I keep in touch with my family is by ordering gifts online for my wife and kids. So when my wife mentioned she had seen a pair of boots she liked, I thought of surprising her by ordering them for her. The problem was, I was quite sure it would take some time for her to receive them. And with the holidays and current economy, I really didn’t have the extra money for the added quicker delivery. So after placing the order through you guys I was really surprised that you guys processed and shipped my order the same day and upgraded the delivery time at no cost to me.
