These absolutely run about 2 sizes smaller than advertised. I couldn't even zip them! I like the style, just not for me.....:(

These are great pants but something is up with the sizing. I own 8 other pairs of Highwaisted Bootcut "7 for Mankind" jeans, and this pair is cut very small. I tried on a couple pair of my others at the same time I tried these just to be sure I wasn't having a fat day. I have a feeling if I order up one size they will be perfect. Weird? Otherwise they are beautiful.

Yes, once again I ignored the other reviews. I also have other 7 Jeans and these are too tight. They fit the way Rock Revival do - like a low rise instead of high rise. I wonder if ordering the size 30 would work for my normal size of 28.

These are nice but the cut in the thighs is just too big. The waist size is 29" - I think true to size. I'm keeping them because I tried shrinking them by washing (didn't work). But doesn't any company make a pair of bootcut jeans that aren't huge in the hip and thigh?

This is the second pair I bought in black. The color stays true, which isn't always the case for black jeans. I would definitely recommend these.
Brands I'd also recommend: Don't have any other brand recommendations at this time. 7s seem to fit me the best at this time.

Amazing comfort with just enough stretch that takes away the cardboard feeling black jeans tend to have. The "mid-rise" (if you want to call it that) is a much more realistic fit compared to the "original" and the best choice if you have some hips and an a$$. I purchased these one size larger because of previous reviews. It was unnecessary and as I wore them throughout the day they became lose and not as form fitting; which is one of the reasons I love 7 jeans. It was a bit disappointing but not enough of a deal breaker to return them; perfect for a "bloated" day. For the veteran 7 jeans person, stick with the size you know. I would definitely recommend them.
